Meet our HCS management team:
Home Care Services
is owned and managed by two former caregivers: Greg Kryca and Dr. Adam Smolarek
with 13 years of combined hands-on caregiving experience between them.
Greg Kryca - a teacher by training, started his career in 1996, shortly after arriving in the US from his native Poland.
Greg spent the first 3 years with the company as a caregiver, after which he was promoted to a position of assistant manager and then
manager. He was offered to take over the company from its founder and first owner in 2004 and became owner and CEO that year.
Adam Smolarek - a medical doctor trained in Europe, joined our company in 1997 as a live-in caregiver and continue as such until 2005. Dr. Adam became director of personnel, responsible for recruiting and training our caregiver force. In 2007 Mr. Smolarek assumed the role of Director of Case Management, in which he remains until present time.
Mr. Kryca and Dr. Smolarek had 13 years of actual care-giving experience prior to assuming their current positions. This gives Adam and Greg a unique perspective as they possess first-hand understanding of the challenges and dynamics of live-in care-giving, which is invaluable in managing this kind of business and gives them a clear advantage over their competitors.
